My friends from highschool try to get together a few times a year. We usually just go out to dinner - just us girls - and laugh and eat till we're sick.
But we realized that most of us have never met each others kids or spouses (we're the exception cause everyone knows Bry. The perks of meeting the love of your life in high school).
Treasure invited us all to her house in Morgan for a BBQ.
Bry's not a fan of a big hangout with some people he doesn't even know, but he was a great sport (plus I told him over and over how much it meant to me). I really needed some time with my friends.
Treasure's house was amazing!
And THIS is her backyard....
If you look really close at the lower part of the mountain - just to the right of the middle - you can see 2 black dots. There was a buck up there and Garrett told Bry he was going to go stalk that buck. We thought he'd get to the edge of the grass and stop. But he surprised us all and got pretty dang close!! He said the buck was a 3x4. Pretty awesome and proud moment for Bry. We all just sat on a blanket and watched.
More of Treasure's backyard. Literally breathtaking. Bry and I could've sat back there all night.
BJ said they get elk during the Rutt that come down and scrape their trees!
Friendships that have lasted over 20 years!

Janae - mom of 2, has the most gorgeous complexion, and she actually LOVES running (Crazy lady!).
Me - the only one who, out of 6 pictures taken, could not stop laughing. Not a lot to say after that other than the photographer (Bry) was a little embarrassed by my endless giggles.
Ash - mom of 2 and always sweet and quiet. She even homeschools her kids - amazing!
Treasure - mom of 6!! and her name says it all - Treasure Love. Seriously. She is that person who is always bringing everyone together. You always leave better after being around her. She inspires me to be a better mother and wife.
We missed our Mandee this time!
But Mands is one of my besties so she deserves some recognition too. She's been there for me through more than most friends go through. And she's an excellent cook who is always willing to help me figure out what to cook for dinner!
You can't take friends like that for granted. :)
