This year, my parents took the kids (yes all 3!) with them for the week. Bry and I weren't able to go up until Thursday night. The kids had so much fun with their cousins. My mom, Ash, and Mac had planned some really fun crafts and activities to keep them entertained during the week. Mac made sling shot things with them and they were a big hit, along with the water bottle holders my mom put together.
We did some fishing, went on a deer searching drive, and sat by the fire.
Bry caught his first little Grayling! He was pretty excited. (And of course I didn't have my camera on me at that moment!)
Garrett started reeling in, and didn't even realize he had a fish on!
Bryn got really upset when she couldn't catch a fish....and her brother kept catching them.
It was an emotional moment.
Things just got real!
Bry told Bryn this was his lucky hat...and this was the lucky way to wear it....

We had quite a few storms during our short time there.
But there's nothing like a summer storm in the mountains.
