Welcoming Summer - with a hike

May was insanely busy for me.  And unfortunately, that kept me from my family.  A lot.

Huge changes at work kept me there 10-13 hours a day and even weekends.
So when Memorial Day finally rolled around, I was ready to get out and away from everything (except from my family!!)

We thought, "why not take the kids on a hike?!"
Seems that everyone else had the same idea.
Everyone and their dog was parked to hike Adam's Canyon.
But, we weren't going to let that stop us.

What a gorgeous day!
The kids were champs and there was little complaining.

But I think the next time we pull up and there are that many people.....we'll find another place to hike.
