Honestly...there's not a whole lot to write about Christmas Day. It was very relaxing. We got up....or should I say Brody woke up close to six so we fed him and then Bry and I woke up the kids between 6:30 & 7! We opened gifts - and at first I think the kids weren't quite awake cause they just stood there looking at everything. But they livend up once they started unwrapping. We went to church - honestly i wish we could start out Christmas morning with church every year it just set the mood for the day and reminded us all why we are really celebrating the day. Next we were off to Mark and Teresa's to open gifts, and then we came home and stayed there the rest of the day. Bry's ankle was swelling pretty bad and so we just decided to hang out at home and let the kids play with their stuff.
We cuddled and watched movies with the kids. Christmas's past we've always been running all over - don't get me wrong I love visiting our families and seeing everyone, but it was nice to have some down time and just spend it together. This picture cracks me up - Rett's face when he discovered the Reindeer had ate all the carrots!
And Santa wrote them back...

The kids got their own acoustic guitars so that they can learn to play with Daddy.
Brynlee got some craft stuff - she loves to draw and make jewelry. She got a Justin Bieber cd and Justin Bieber watch....just what she wanted! Rett got a Bumblebee Transformer mask and a wii game.
We loved our time together. And have learned to cherish those moments. We hope and pray that everyone had a wonderful Christmas!
